International Shipping from Carriers
International Shipping rates and labels from Carriers are available with carrier services marked in your services grid as "international" and require special configuration. To configure international shipping, please, go to the Carriers section from the left menu and click the Settings button.
Carrier settings for international shipping
By clicking the yellow "Settings" button from Services or Packages grid you will access international shipping settings for this particular carrier. All of these fields must be filled in to get the correct international shipping rates and labels.
- Get Rates with Tax and Duties for International Shipping. Full international shipping rates (also known as "landed cost") consist of rate itself plus tax and duties. Enable tax and duties if you want to get a full rate. Disable tax and duties if you don't need to display the full rate to your customers. Note, that tax and duties require additional credits: 25 credits for international rates with tax and duties, 1 credit for international rates without tax and duties. Learn more about pricing.
- Contents. The type of contents within this shipment. This may impact import duties or customs treatment. 5 options are available: Merchandise, Documents, Gift, Returned goods, Sample.
- Non Delivery. Indicates what to do if a package cannot be delivered. 2 options are available: Return to sender, Treat as abandoned.
- Commodity / Harmonized Tariff Code. You can select your platform's custom attribute and use a code value from there or use a common value if you have a single code for all your products. Common value will be used if there is no custom attribute or its value is undefined. Note, that this setting might affect duties & taxes amount.
- Product Description. You can select your platform's custom attribute and use the description value from there or use a common value if you have the same description for all your products. Common value will be used if there is no custom attribute or its value is undefined. Note, that this setting might affect duties & taxes amount.
- Country of Origin. You can select your platform's custom attribute and use the country of origin value from there or use a common value if you have the same country of origin for all your products. Common value will be used if there is no custom attribute or its value is undefined. Note, that this setting might affect duties & taxes amount.
